A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
ALONG THE SILK ROAD

This study tour will begin from Beijing, to Xian, to the Dunhuang Caves, and Qin Hai Lake along the route the famous Buddhist monk Shuan Zhuan took when he traveled to seek Buddhist scriptures in Tang Dynasty. The focus of this study tour is Tang Dynasty, Chinese philosophy in relationship with Buddhist studies, folk culture, and the famous cave paintings in Dunghuang.

Interested parties must submit written application stating your areas of interest, personal information, and any previous travels to China. Applicants must have valid U.S. passport and be in good physical condition to travel in high altitude areas.
