ETHNIC CULTURE STUDY IN SOUTHWEST CHINA

This study tour will take place in Guizhou Province in the Southwest Region of China to study Chinese minority tribal culture. The various ethnic groups there live in traditional lifestyle where they practice holistic healing, create beautiful textiles, silver jewelry, and farm with organic methods. They also are proud to have a unique autonomous tribal governing system which will interest social studies students. The focus of this course will be tribal culture, folk art, holistic healing methods and social studies.

Participants must have a valid U. S. passport and be in good physical condition for travel. Interested parties must submit a written application stating your areas of interest, information about you, and previous travel experiences to China, if any. Pre-departure meetings/classes will be announced after acceptance.
